1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Xsync (“the Service”), operated by Intellix Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Xsync is a tool that synchronizes your university timetable from WebUntis to Google Calendar. It is provided for convenience only.

Xsync is not a replacement for your official university timetable. You should always verify your schedule against the official WebUntis platform or university communications. Xsync does not create, modify, or control your timetable — it only mirrors what WebUntis provides.

3. User responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate WebUntis credentials and keeping them up to date.
• Maintaining an active Google account with Calendar access.
• Verifying your synced calendar events against official sources.
• Ensuring your subscription remains active for continued synchronization.

4. Subscription and billing

Xsync is a paid service at R20 per month (South African Rand), billed via Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis. All prices include applicable VAT.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing page in the application. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds — whether for partial months, unused time, sync issues, dissatisfaction, or any other reason.

6. Limitation of liability

Xsync is a tool only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intellix Labs shall not be held liable for:

• Missed classes, lectures, exams, or any academic consequences.
• Incorrect, incomplete, or outdated timetable data (WebUntis is the source of truth).
• Sync delays, failures, interruptions, or calendar event conflicts.
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

You use Xsync entirely at your own risk.

7. Data accuracy

Xsync mirrors the data provided by WebUntis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of synced data. Room changes, cancellations, and substitutions depend entirely on WebUntis being up to date. You should always cross-reference your official timetable.

8. Service availability

Xsync is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time without liability.

9. Intellectual property

The Xsync name, logo, domain, and software are the intellectual property of Intellix Labs. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these terms, non-payment, or abuse of the Service. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Xsync after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the application.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
